Aim(s) of Course : The main purpose of this course is to discuss educational processes with sociological thought.

Course Contents : The discussion of the functions and systems of formal education; the theories on the sociology of education; hidden curriculum; economical, social and ideological dimensions of education, crossrelations among school, politics and society.
