Learns the factors that play a role in the emergence of cities.
learns about the social and cultural structure of the first cities in history, ancient cities and towns of Turkish and Islamic
Understands the role of cities in terms of social and cultural change to the cradle.

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to provide students to distinguish the structure of rural and urban areas and their continuity.

Course Contents : In this course, concepts of rural-urban, the difference between them, the theories of habitation, reasons for migration, the relationship between meigration and tradition, reason for not being able to adapt to urban life, various social consequesces of unadaptation in Tukey, and crime are investigated.
