Aim(s) of Course : To gain a viewpoint in introducing the aims of soil biology laboratory

Course Contents : Importance of laboratory order and hygenie Laboratory safety knowledges Glass materials and properties of chemicals and precations in their usage. Rules of soil sampling and showing how to take samples from fields Preparation of soil analyses Physical analysis of soils: determining texture, moisture, field capacity and permanent wilting point Physical analysei of soils: determining texture, moisture, field capacity and permanent wilting point Chemical analysis of soils: pH Chemical analysis of soils: limestone Soil carbon analysis Soil nitrogen analysis Soil mineral nitrogen analysis Soil incubation method for carbon mineralization (Respiration method) Nitrogen mineralization
