Knows basic concepts in plant propagation techniques. Learns propagation techniques used in plants. Realizes the basic principles of plant propagation in horticulture especially in fruit growing and subjects of seed, rootstock, grafting. Knows preparing hormones used in plant propagation. Discusses on how to transfer theoretical knowledge into practice.

To propagate stress resistant and better plant propagation in terms of quality and quantity and to use available methods in propagation and techniques in evaluation. |

Course Contents |
: |
Subjects such as basic principles of plant propagation in horticulture, especially in fruit growing, seed, rootstock are evaluated. Viability and germination tests on seeds, rootstock production with cuttings, grafting types and different grafting techniques in plant propagation are emphasized. |
