About the Programme |

The candidates, graduated from Faculty of Science, Department of Biology and have a bachelor’s degree which is approved by the academic council, are accepted to master degree programme. In the first two semesters, the programme includes compulsory and elective courses in order to gain knowledge and skills at postgraduate level, in the field of Histology and Embryology. The third and fourth semesters of the programme includes writing a Master thesis project related to their field. |

Profile of the Programme |

Histology and Embrylogy programme aims to train well equipped scientists with the necessary knowledge and skills at postgraduate level. It also aims to train scientists who can carry out the work individually and as a team member. Additionally the scientist can present current developments orally and in written form in the research field. Also the scientists in this programme, can identify the learning needs and resources and pay attention to ethical rules in their researches. Graduate students get advanced education in the fields of ultrastructures and functional relationships of the cells, tissues and organs of the human and they also learn cell culture, histochemistry and immunohistochemistry in advance level. |

The graduates of this programme can work at Fertility Treatment Centers at hospitals in public institute and private sector. Also they can find a job in institutions affiliated to the private sector or public enterprise that is related to healthcare field. |

The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to obtain a PhD degree in their or related fields if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the “Regulations of Çukurova University Graduate Studies”, which includes a required ALES score and an adequate English language proficiency. |
