Learning Outcomes of the Course : Classifiies sciences, knows relationship between variety of types of information with science and knows the limits of science.
Knows Experimental sciences, scientific research and the basic principles of the method.
Establishes a relationship with the question of basic oriented scientific studies and applied oriented studies.
Changes a problem into the problem of research using theory and existing research
Expresses the problem in the form of research questions and hypotheses.
Knows research models, classifies researches.
Recognizes data collection techniques (essay, content analysis, observation, ask) and selects the proper techniques of the research question.
Know the universe and sample techniques and select the appropriate sampling and universe techniques.
Collects data and codes, makes it simple descriptive statistics with spreadsheet data and analysis.

Aim(s) of Course : The main purpose of this course is to learn the methodoloy for social science and its concepts.

Course Contents : Developing scientific attitudes and understanding in relation to scientific method, criticisms of scientific practices, introducing different research techniques, examining the scientific principles of data gathering process ğf each stage in detail from the first to the last will be considered.
