The interaction of language and culture may have important pedagogical implications that teachers need to consider, including the target culture, inter-cultures that may be present in the classroom, and the learners expectations concerning language learning and teaching. What learners expect from Native Speakers and Non-Native Speakers is also relevant, as is what teachers expect, and what they get, from different cultures in teaching situations. Students will be aware of the effects of culture, inter-culture, globalisation and the internet on language, language teaching and learning, and be able to apply this knowledge in practical classroom setting
