Aim(s) of Course : This course aims to enable the participants to gain a general understanding of the theoretical learning principles of ESP; language learning theories related to ESP; approaches to course and syllabus design; materials design, materials development and evaluation. The course also includes ESP/EAP in Turkey and foreign countries.

Course Contents : history of ESP, learning theories, needs analysis, ESP materials design and development, materials evaluation, ESP course design, Content-based instruction
