Learning Outcomes of the Course : Students know general information about toxins and their history, usage areas and importgance for human Students know poisoning apparatus and their application types. They get information the molecules found in toxins
Students know the term of lethal dose, effectiveness of toxins and the basic principles of toxicology
They get information about the biology of poisonous animals begining from single cells to mollusca, arthropoda, amphibia and reptilia
Students increase further their knowledge on this subject obtained from the presentations of pictures and videos

Aim(s) of Course : To give detailed informations about poisonous animals and the metabolisms of toxins

Course Contents : In this course, the lethal effects and properties of toxins used often in defense, attack and hunting in animal kingdom and also biological characteristics of these animals are studied in details
