Learning Outcomes of the Course |
: |
Detects and identifies the characteristics of ceramic glaze raw materials. Defines how raw materials affect clay body and glaze. Describes how water-soluble and insoluble raw materials affect clay bodies and glaze. Determines the properties of glaze. Evaluates and reports the study. Calculates the mineral formula from chemical analysis of the specified raw material. Calculates recipe using Seger formula in ceramic glaze. Applies his/her own glaze on testing plates and fire them at different temperatures in kilns.
