Aim(s) of Course : Aim of this course is to give students the basic knowledge and skills in news gathering and writing techniques. Preparing students to the profession of journalism with the support of experience.

Course Contents : In this course, the definition of news, the question of objectivity, journalists working in different media contexts, institutional and assessment, types of news, news gathering and news sources, questioning techniques, types of questioning, the basic elements and principles of news writing, types of transfer news, news language, spelling and written evaluation of the news / editorial topics will be covered.
