Learning Outcomes of the Course : At the end of the course the student is expected to gain a better understanding of legal concepts through a case-based approach. The purpose is to familiarise the students with the basic principles of institutional and substantive law of the EU.

Aim(s) of Course : This course aims at providing an introduction to the institutional and substantive law of the European Union. It concentrates on sui generis features of the European Union, its institutions, single market and free movement.

Course Contents : EU law examines the history of the European union, sources of the EU law, main principles of the EU and the institutional structure of the EU.
