Learning Outcomes of the Course : Students who will successfully complete this course will be able to:
understand different approaches to foreign policy analysis and different factors that affect foreign policy making;
analyze a particular foreign policy case from the perspective of one or more of the approaches covered in class.

Aim(s) of Course : This course helps students understand theoretical background of foreign policy analysis. By focusing on comparative foreign policy cases, it aims to develop students’ analytical skills and critical thinking.

Course Contents : This course examines foreign policy decision-making process and roles of different factors and actors in this process. It presents different theoretical approaches to foreign policy analysis and case studies from different regions in the world.
