Internalizes the basic concepts of communication and relates instrumental and teleological areas of communication Understands the dynamics of communication sector and compares the practical and theoretical areas. Has a fair orientation to the professional life in the mass media. Has interdisciplinary perspective to the field of communication and discusses the developments in this field. Prepares, performs and evaluates communication projects. Becomes an active member of professional organizations and institutions and manages works and relationships. Applies social responsibility projects by adopting professional ethics. Follows the technological and theoretical developments in the field and plans her/his career on the right direction. Configures his/her ideas and projects effectively with written and oral communication skills.

Aim(s) of Course |
: |
The aim of this course is to introduce the professionals of the field to communication students in an academic environment. Thus, the candidate communicators will have chance to meet and exchange ideas in a creative platform. Communication professionals (journalists, advertisers, PR people, etc.) will share their experiences with communication students in the seminars.

Course Contents |

Seminars will be given by communication scholars and media professionals. Colaboration with local and national media professionals and field trips will be organized. In this context, transfer of knowledge and experience of academics and professionals will be available for the students. |
