Aim(s) of Course : The aim is to introduce the resources on Islamic history to students and to provide them with the ability to use them in scientific studies

Course Contents : The following topics are in the scope of this course: the issue of resource and modern research, the emergence of Siyar (biography of the prophet) historiography, periodization of the literature, resources and authors of Siyar and Islamic history, reading sample texts
