Aim(s) of Course : Teaching the basic theories of probability distribution functions, expected value, variance, two-dimensional functions

Course Contents : Probability; random variables; probability functions; expected value and moment generating functions; bivariate or multivariate variables and probability distributions; discrete probability distributions (binomial. multinomial, geometric, hypergeometric, negative binomial and poisson) and continuous probability distributions (uniform and normal distributions) ; normal approximation to binomial and Poisson; central limit theorem.
