Aim(s) of Course : To have knowledge about mining problems which can be solved by CAD and block models which are used in computer programs that solve the problems

Course Contents : Regular grid block models, irregular block medel, boundry of plan model, using geological and geotechnical datums at block modeling, determination of limits of open pit mines, transforming from open pit limits regard as accurate coordinate to block limits, determination initial cut point of open pit, selection of excavating machine and determination of excavate schedule in surface mining.
