Explains and interprets the informations about the Prophet as a human being and prophe Distinguishes the conflicts between the meaning of Sunnah and Prophet´s companions´ understanding of Sunnah Analyzes the discussions about the source and nature of the Hadith and Sunnah. Identifies the contribution of Jahiliyya period´s Socio-cultural accumulation to the maturation of the Prophet. Analyzes the comments about the nature of Prophet´s ijtihads (case law).

Resources of knowledge in Islam: Qur´an, Sunnah, Ijma, Kiyas. The life of the Prophet Muhammad before risalah/prophethood. Contribution of the Socio-cultural accumulation Jahiliyya period to the maturation of the Prophet. Discussions about the source and nature of Hadith and Sunnah. Revelation and Qur´an as the sources of Prophet´s knowledge. Prophet Muhammad in Qur´an. Dimensions of discourse of Qur´an´s Islam. The character of the Sunnah as a revelation. The Sunnah as a source of knowledge and civilization. Ijtihads/the case-law of the Prophet Muhammad. |
