Explains the purpose of Department of History of Islamic Sects, as well as its importance and relationship with other disciplines Analyzes the variations in understanding of religion with a supra-sectarian approach Has a konowledge of methods and techniques used in the field of History of Islamic Sects Determines the main research fields of the history of Islamic sects Identifies, classifies and assesses the major sources of History of Islamic Sects Analyzes Islamic sects according to their intellectual structure Identifies main problems of Department of History of Islamic Sects Defines the concept of sect, and emphasizes the differences between political-creedal and jurisprudence sects
