  Programme Information
About the Programme : Pediatric Oncology Programme includes malignant and benign tumors of all childhood periods, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up programs which aim to educate and equip students. The topics of myelodysplastic syndromes, histiositos, leukemias, lymphomas, and other solid-organ tumors, tumors of the central nervous system are within the study area of this programme. There are also applications in bone marrow stem cell transplantation. The title of Master of Science in Pediatric Oncology is received upon completing the two-year graduation programme.  

Qualification Awarded : The students who have successfully accomplished this program gain the master’s degree of Pediatric Oncology. 

Level of Qualification : Second Cycle (Master’s Degree) 

Specific Admission Requirements : The students can apply to this program providing ALES score, grade point averages and interview in accordance with the regulations of “Çukurova University Graduate Education and Examination Committee” and can pursue their education in their or in related fields.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations : In order to graduate from this programme, the students are required to successfully complete all the courses with a minimum average grade point of 3.00 out of 4.00. 

Profile of the Programme : The teaching staff of Pediatric Oncology Program are competent and experienced faculty members who teach in domestic and international programmes. The diagnosis, treatments and advanced-technology applications of the areas such as tumor biology, genetics and pathology of the tumor, stem cell transplantation are among the applications and methods conducted in the programme.

Occupational Profile of Graduates : Graduates of this program can work at pediatric oncology departments of public, private or foundation universities and / or hospitals. 

Access to Further Studies : The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to obtain a PhD degree in their or related fields if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the “Regulations of Çukurova University Graduate Studies”, which includes a required ALES score and an adequate English language proficiency.
