About the Programme |

Landscaping Architecture Program aims at being a leading department in education, research and application by directing the disciplines of landscaping planning and landscaping design at all scales, competing with national and international institutions with its distinguished and visionary faculty. The mission of the department is to develop methods for education, research and to share outcomes of these efforts at the largest extent. Its main target is to achieve planning and design policies, concepts and practices together with social and economic needs while respecting the ecological integrity of environment through an integrated program of teaching and research. |

Occupational Profile of Graduates |

Graduates of this program are employed at Ministry of Environment and Urbanism, Ministry of Forestry and Water Works, Development Planning and Parks and Recreation Areas Departments of Municipalities, Environmental Research Institutes, specifically working on planning, design, nature conservation, environmental management EIA, SEIA. Graduates can also work for private sector or can be self-employed in Planning and Design Studios, building contracting companies, companies acting in tourism and recreation sector and national and international environmental agencies. |

Access to Further Studies |

The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to obtain a PhD degree in their or related fields if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the “Regulations of Çukurova University Graduate Studies”, which includes a required ALES score and an adequate English language proficiency. |
