About the Programme |

This program, which is for the members of profession with a bachelor degree, covers academic research on the fields the graduate students want to specialize in. Upon completion of the program they are awarded with the degree of master of architect. Graduate Program in Architecture consists of departments of History of Architecture, Building Design, Construction Design and Urban Planning. Every department runs specific courses in their area of specialization for the continuity of undergraduate program. |

Profile of the Programme |

The aim of the graduate program in architecture department is to provide graduate students with expertise in contemporary developments and help them develop themselves in doing academic studies on architecture through cultural and theoretical courses on environmental, cultural and technical issues in the field of spatial planning. Within this aim students are required to develop skills through seminars, laboratory works and practices in architectural studios in a contemporary and professional level. The students are to decide their field of expertise and select courses accordingly. |

Occupational Profile of Graduates |

The graduates of the program can work for state organizations such as Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning and its local directorates, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works, The Bank of Provinces, Municipalities and Universities. As for private sector, they can also work as designer, controller or practitioner in construction firms and architectural offices. |

Access to Further Studies |

The graduates of this program are eligible to apply for admission to obtain a PhD degree in their or related fields if they pass the evaluation process designated according to the “Regulations of Çukurova University Graduate Studies”, which includes a required ALES score and an adequate English language proficiency. |
