Knows the thermodynamic system, thermodynamic process, heat and work, thermodynamic equilibrium. Knows the properties of the ideal gases and equation of state for ideal gases. Knows the thermodynamic laws (The first and the second). Knows the main thermodynamic processes in ideal gases. Knows the water vapour and processes in water vapour. Knows Psychrometry and basic psychrometric processes.

Aim(s) of Course |
: |
Thermodynamics is a science that deals with energy. It’s main subject is to discuss interactions between the heat and work. Aim of this science is to give some basic principles about thermodynamic laws, ideal gases and main thermodynamic processes in ideal gas, humid air and humitdair processes (Psychrometry), compressors, gas power cycles, steam power cycles, refrigeration cycles subjects. |
