1. Distinguishes ontology concepts from ontological questions and problems 1.1 Differentiates the basic concepts of ontology, and discusses the issues in this context. 1.2. Distinguishes the fundamental questions of ontology, discusses the basic questions. 2. Realizes that ontology is one of the most important disciplines of philosophy 2.1. Explains how effective a philosopher´s determinations on its other determinations 2.2. Evaluates the view on the concepts, questions and problems of being with differences and similarities of the perspectives. 3. Shows difference of ontolohy with the other philosophical disciplines. 3.1. Compares the ontology with epistemology. 3.2. Comments in the context of the history of philosophy texts related to ontology.

Course Contents |
: |
In this lecture, how ontology which is claimed to be a fundamental science treats the basic structure of being and its determination principles together with its kinds in the context of ancient and modern views will be illustrated. Also, the differences and relations between ontology and logic, ontology and metaphysics, ontology and epistemology will be examined. Besides this, by illuminating such concepts like "being", "appearance", "being in itself", "reality and ideality", "existence", "possibility", "necessity", "causality", "category", "dialectics", "aporetics", it will be questioned if there is any possibility of approaching to the being totaly. |
