Enable to watch the livings of objective natural and artificial world and use those observations in reformations and narrations through visual expression elements and techniques of reformatting.

Aim(s) of Course : To grasp basic principles, concepts and methods of design; to gain students skills to reflect their observations, impressions, feelings, design and images through art and technique uncovering their creative powers; to enable them to watch the entities of natural and artificial world and to reframe and express their observations through narration techniques.

Course Contents : Basic theories and principles of design, design elements, point, line, plane, volume, size, shape, value, texture, color, visual communication, visual perception, perception psychology, optical interface, proportion, shape-background relations, tridimensionality, design principles, recurrence, harmony, contrast, unity, dominance, balance, hierarchy, space-form and geometry, space-form applications.
