Learning Outcomes of the Course : Students learn general information about morphology, metamorphosis, growth and developments of insects
This course introduces the symptoms and signs of plant disease,pathogen biology,disease cycles and epidemiology,
Students know natural enemies of the pest insects
Students know management tactics of the pest insects
Learns disease management, and scientific, economic and social significance of major plant diseases.

Aim(s) of Course : Introduction of disease-causing factors in plants. Learning about the protection and control methods of plant diseases. Students learn mean of pest insects, identifications of them from other organism. In this course, knowledge about the economically important order and family of arthropods and their control tactics are also being thought.

Course Contents : This course introduce the symptoms and signs, pathogen biology, disease cycle, epidemiology, disease management, and scientific, economic and social significance of major plant diseases. Students will learn insects classification and differences with close groups, morphology of insects,agricultural control and management of insects.
