Learning Outcomes of the Course : Define the basic concepts of sampling and sampling distributions.
Define the basic properties and rules of statistical estimation.
Define the basic properties and rules of hypothesis testing
Test the statistical hypotheses that are constructed and interpret the results.
Use the statistical tables such as Z, t, Chi-square and F

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to introduce the students sampling methods and sampling distributions and provide them with the ability to estimate the population parameters, construct and test hypothesis.

Course Contents : Sampling theory and sampling distributions, central limit theorem, statistical estimation and confidence intervals, statistical decision and hypothesis testing
