Learning Outcomes of the Course : Gains comprehensive knowledge about group communication, course management and effective communication methods in various age groups.
Gains knowledge about conflict management, face to face communication, skills about asking correct questions.
Gains comprehensive knowledge about effective listening, proficiency in words, persuation and persuation language patterns
Gains knowledge about communication process and theories.
Know and uses the concepts related to communication

Aim(s) of Course : It is very important for an individual to have good communication skills in order to maintain the relationships in the social environment. Thus this course aims to help students develop communication skills in sport by providing an overview of the basic elements of communication for the sport environment and understanding of the human reletionship.

Course Contents : Definition and theories of communication, language and meaning - deep and surface structure, Perceptions and mapping the words, Communication process, Rapport skills, Effective listening skills, Visual- Audotory and Kinestehetic people, Conflict management, Structure of persuations, Sleight of mouth pattern, Asking the right questions, metafors, symbols and story telling, Pacing and leading, Presentation skills
