Learning Outcomes of the Course : Produces stuidies based on experimental workshop applications using different tools .
Explains technical and changing living conditions of the age and uses this information in the field of experience.
Pursues knowledge as problematic query acquired in the field of application and as a result, transforms it into a project format.
Learns about issues included in the current artistic works.
Creates a unique language integrity of the plastic.
Tries traditional painting techniques in his/her composition.

Aim(s) of Course : To have adequate visual and cultural knowledge and competence to analyze the technique and the content of the Works of the period with basic theories and concepts of painting; To enable students to acquire a unique artistic language by regarding painting which is included in plastic arts as a unique form of expression and to comprehend it through application within the framework of different art technologies

Course Contents : Through practical and conceptual studies in the form of projects and workshps, students comprehend the basic elements of the image. This workshop course also enables students to carry out studies by balancing the knowledge of observation-experiment through different techniques. With the help of sketches and etudes, students do composition studies and research in order to use elements of plastic expression. Students constitude their own pictorial language of expression in an effort to construe the basic issues of art .
