Learning Outcomes of the Course : Knows the definition, the history and development phases of printmaking art
Knows what kind of physical hardwares printmaking workshops should have . Knows and uses all technical tools and utensils.
Knows printmaking techniques theoretically and practically and implements them using individual research methods.
Reproduces an original design using single or multi-press molding by conventional techniques.
He searches that printmaking techniques and the usage of the discovery and possibilities.
He explores emerging technologies to use replication techniques of contemporary printmaking.
Primary and secondary education in accordance with the terms of the workshop,he knows how is printmaking techniques, tools and instruments which may be applied.

Aim(s) of Course : To teach replica techniques of traditional and contemporary printmaking both theoretically and practically

Course Contents : The course includes information about the history, development stages, art-artists and techniques of the art of printmaking. Theoretical knowledge is given about the folowing techiniques of printmaking; Stencil, Monotype, linocut, wood, engraving, silk screen, lithography, collography and on modern techniques. Original single and multi-color, and single or multi-pattern printmaking is practised using the techniques that are eligible for the workshop.
