Learning Outcomes of the Course : To understand the foreign exchange market and the process of foreign exchange rate system.
To learn and calculate the balance of payments
Comprehension of the logic of international monetary economics
Understanding the relationship between internation economics and economic development of a country
Introduction of the international monetary system and its development and Investigating macroeconomic policy analysis in open economies

Aim(s) of Course : The course aims to introduce students the theoric base of international economics such as international monetary economics and open macroeconomic policies. So at that point, the students will be able to present new policy offerings.

Course Contents : In this course, international monetary economics, analysis of exchange markets, theories of exchange rate, price mechanisms, international economics and economic development, underdeveloped countries, money and capital markets, foreign direct investments and capital flows, international services trade, international money systems, IMF, macroeconomic policy analysis in open economies: internal-external balance, will be taught.
