Learning Outcomes of the Course : Describes the position of the European Union in the international politics
Knows about the historical progress of the Turkey & EU relations.
Describes the establishment and development of the European Union
Explains the structure and functioning of the European Union.
Analyses the discussions in view of the Turkish EU entry,
Analyses the problems which appear in the relations between Turkey and the EU,
Analyses the position of the EU in the international politics and its meaning for the Turkish foreign policy.

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to help students learn about the progress of the Turkey & EU relations, the regulations between them and the institutional structures constituted based on these regulations.

Course Contents : The contents of this course include information about the EU agency, the chronological development of the EU´s common policies and institutions, the development process of Turkey-EU relations nd the conceptual framework of the EU Foreign Policy.
