Learning Outcomes of the Course : Defines children´s and youth literature.
Determines the appropriate works of children´s literature for different age and gender groups.
Does critical reading and creative reading activities.
Selects appropriate books for Social Studies education among the works of children´s literature.

Aim(s) of Course : The basic aim of this course is to help students develop reading pleasure by meeting outstanding examples of children´s literature and do critical and creative reading activities regarding the selected works.

Course Contents : The contents of this course include the concept of children´s literature, the developmental process of children´s literature and the literary texts for children.
