Aim(s) of Course : Introduction of soil and protection of soils by emphasizing its place on earth and even improving it for bringing necessary consciousness

Course Contents : 1) Introduction of soils 2) Effective factors on pedogenesis: Geological, Physical, Biological 3) Introduction of Geological factors: Rocks and minerals etc. 4) Detailed explanation of physical factors: effects of glaciers. 5) Chemical factors: pH, solubility, water, effects of river, lake and seas 6) Biological factors and their roles on pedogenesis 7) Main properties of soils: organic and inorganic compounds. 8) Factors that characterize soils 9) Classification of soils and introduction of some soil samples 10) İntroduction of clays and their functions 11) Negative effects of soils: Erosion 12) Soil protection precautions
