Aim(s) of Course : To understand the basic physics of particle

Course Contents : The history of particle accelerators, linear and circular accelerators, accelerators applications of nuclear physics, CERN, FNAL, DESY, KEK, Turkish Accelerator Center, next-generation accelerators of charged particles, and the interaction of radiation with matter I, II interaction of charged particles and radiation with matter, particle detectors Calorimeter; Vertex Detectors; Muon Spectrometer; large hadron collider detector systems I; large hadron collider detector systems II.
