Learning Outcomes of the Course : Becomes conscious of the fundamental issues that moisture can create in terms of building physics
Determines the method of insulation according to the degree of impact of the water (pressure or non-pressure)
Prepares details of the structural elements with a variety of building materials ; Uses and follows the insulation standards and regulations in force
Understands the importance of basic insulation of the building in the face of earthquakes
Brings solutions to the moisture problems of historic buildings
Applies the basic principles and details of the green roof

Aim(s) of Course : Gains knowledge about issues such as avoiding the damage of building by using moisture isolation in buildings ; protecting building materials and elements ; and thus preventing potential economic loses; gains skill and knowledge about designing a comfortable space for human healthy.  

Course Contents : Explaining the concept and purpose, significance, types so on. topics of moisture isolation in building via visual / theoretical presentation ; TS, ISO so on. some materials and isolation standards According to the degree of impact on the water,(pressure and non-pressure) description of the methods insulation. Analyzing roof garden, pool and so on,formations via 1/2, 1/5 scaled point details from on the cross-section of the system and materials. Giving research study on the subject.
