Learning Outcomes of the Course : Learns one of the main subjects in physics; the vibration and wave motion
Defines the types of physical waves; velocity, energy, overlap, interference, reflection and transition of physical waves
Knows the physics, pace ,velocity, power, intensity, frequency, occurrence, spread in the air, resources, pressure, spatial acoustics, acoustics regulatory materials of sound waves.
Establishes the relationship between sound and music.

Aim(s) of Course : Students learns the subjects related to sound waves, sound creation, sound sources, frequency, sound amplitude as physics, and thus they have a knowledge about the relationship between sound and music.

Course Contents : Vibrational motion, Wave motion, The sound waves and its speed and frequency, Sound creation, Dissemination of sound in air, Sound intensity, Sound sources, Sound pressure, Pitch and frequency of the sound, Spatial acoustics, Acoustics regulatory materials, The relationship between sound and music, and musical instruments.
