To understand which problems are linear programming problems or not.
To define the linear programming problems and build the model.
To solve the linear programming model and use its solutions to make comment about business applications. To distinguish between transportation and assignment problems and to solve and evaluate the solutions. To be able to use MS Excel Solver to reach solutions of quantitative decision making problems.
