Learning Outcomes of the Course : 1) Explains the general geological and geomorphological features of Turkey. 2) Explains the general climatological characteristics of Turkey. 3) Explains the properties of Turkey´s general hydrography. 4) Explains the general characteristics of the soil geography of Turkey. 5) Explains the characteristics of the general vegetation geography of Turkey. 6) Explains the general characteristics of the fauna of Turkey. 7) Explains the properties of the geography of Turkey´s population in general. 8) Explains the the general features of the geography of settlement in Turkey. 9) Explains the general features of Turkey´s economic geography. 10) Evaluates physical geographical properties of Turkey and the effects of these properties on human, economical and geopolitical structure. 11) Evaluates the importance of Turkey´s geopolitical and geostrategic.
