Learning Outcomes of the Course : Explains physical event. Gives examples of physical events in the environment. Separates mass and weight, heat and temperature. Compares similarities and differences between the physical phenomena. Formulates the relationship between different variables in Physics. Evaluates the importance of Physics.

Aim(s) of Course : The course aims to explain daily life events by using basic physics law and concepts.

Course Contents : Mechanic: movement, velocity and acceleration, mass and force, balance, work and energy preservation, easy machines, momentum, the systems of space and world, the movements of World, planets and space, gravitation. Pressure and liquids. Heat and temperature: the sources of heat, the diffusion of heat, the isolation of heat, the effects of heat, expansion, change of state, the effects of heat to environment. Waves and expansion: light sources, the expansion of light, reflection, mirrors, refraction, lenses, eye and vision, eye defects, optical tools. Sound: the features of sound, the expansion of sound, the isolation of sound Electricity: electrical forces, electrical area, electrical potential, electric current, resistance and changeable resistance, Ohm?s law, power station, the transport and use of electrical energy.
