Aim(s) of Course : To enable students to acquire the necessary linguistic competence they would need to understand their lectures in English, take notes, and communicate (oral and written) at a pre-intermediate level

Course Contents : obligations, predictions about future, superlatives to describe place, ability in the past “could”, future possibilities, simple past tense and past continuous tenses, jobs, infinitive; gerund, present passive sentences, obligations and prohibition, planned and spontaneous decisions, ed, -ing adjectives, modals for asking for, giving and refusing permission, if clause type 2, past passive sentences
