Describes the historical development and theoretical foundations of technology and instructional technology. Explains the relationship between instructional technologies and the teaching-learning process of communication environments. Describes the process of designing teaching materials. Explains the features of tools and materials used in teaching environments . Designs instructional materials. Evaluates teaching materials that have been developed.

Aim(s) of Course |
: |
The aim of the course is, to teach basic concepts about instructional technology, characteristics of various instructional technologies, their importance and usage in primary school, worksheets, activities, overhead projector materials, powerpoint slights, visual media tools, computer-based leaernig, internet and distance education, use of instructional technologies in Turkey and around the World. In addition, the students are expected to design materials to be used in primary education in Turkey by considering 1-4 grade curriculum. |
