Aim(s) of Course : The objective of the internship period is to provide students the opportunity to test their interest in a particular career before permanent commitments are made, to help the student develop skills in the application of theory to practical work situations, to develop skills and techniques directly applicable to their careers, to aid students in adjusting from academic environment to full-time employment, and to increase students’ sense of responsibility

Course Contents : The practical placement gives the student the opportunity to transform the theoretical knowledge obtained during the bachelor programme into the work environment and hence includes all kinds of work-related activities. Possible work-places for the internship will be determined and announced by the department chair at the beginning of each academic year. Students are required to work 30 days (at least 6 hours per day) in any field related to the area of interest where they can practise their profession. The work carried out is compiled in a detailed manner on daily basis in the form of a report which is then approved by the chief staff in the place of work and then submitted to the academic staff responsible for the evaluation and grading of the internship reports

Language of Instruction : Turkish

Work Place : Research land, laboratories, classrooms
