Aim(s) of Course : Understand prosthetic treatment of periodontally problematic teeth.

Course Contents : Anatomy, physiology and pathology of the masticatory system, pulp and periodontium Examination of peridontal compromised teeth Prosthodontics in relation to Periodontics Microbiology of dental plaque Occlusion and periodontium Marjinal fitting and placement of periodontal compromised teeth The effect of the surface adherence Periodontal considerations in removable partial denture treatment Periodontal considerations in fixed prosthetic treatment Periodontal considerations in combination of fixed and removable prostheses Effect of prosthetic materials and design on periodonlogic tissues
