Learning Outcomes of the Course : Learn the fisheries practise such as deep trawl, shrimp trammel net, longline, beach seine and cast net
Know the age determination and some morphometric characters on fish
Learn the cleaning and filleting of seafood, prepare the silage from discard fish
Knows collecting ichtyoplankton samples from natural environment and their evaluation in respect of different purposes
Knows profiling the coastline
Know the basic bivalves and gastropods species our religion
Learn the fish vaccination and drug administration methods
Know the diagnosis of parasitic, bacterial fish diseases, application of antibiogram and blood sampling techniques
Learn the decapsulation of artemia cysts and counting
Know the lagoon systems and learn the seal fisheries

Aim(s) of Course : Provide the ability to transfer theoretical knowledge of students and provide the opportunity to test their interest in the scope of the student’s career.

Course Contents : Comprise the application of the theoretical knowledge obtained during bachelor programme about basic science, fisheries aquaculture, diseases, fishing and fish processing
