Learning Outcomes of the Course : Describes the general features of the Republic Period Turkish Literature related to the basic concepts.
Explains the literary community of the important features of this period.
Shows the properties of the solid Republican Period Literature texts.
Tells about the literary people who are still alive.
Establishes a connection with recent developments in the political relationship between the literary community.

Aim(s) of Course : The aim of this course is to teach the students about the general features of the Turkish literature between the Servet-i Fünûn and National literature eras; the period, figures and works; characteristics of the period; comparative investigation of the literary works as regards to language and style.

Course Contents : Students accomplished this course will learn the modernity attempts in Turkish literatute starting after Tanzimat era and learn the new sample works in literature and the literary works following the sample ones
