Learning Outcomes of the Course |
: |
Knows the physical structures of ceramic tableware in terms of body and glaze. Designs tableware based on their use.
-Designs and forms models of ceramics produced through casting method in relation to their body features (tile, hard tile, porcelain)
Knows the methods of forming, drying, retouching, glazing, firing and the stages of quality control of ceramic tableware. Knows the relationship between designs and the concepts of functionality and sanitation. Knows the methods in designing ceramics sanitary ware. Knows the stages of casting, drying, retouching, glazing, firing and quality control of sanitary ware. Learns hand-eye coordination in his/her field and also uses his/her time efficiently.

This course aims to provide the students with accurate and basic information in the design of ceramic tableware and sanitary ware. The course also aims to create the logic of design required while executing the design of these products. |
