Aim(s) of Course : To enable students to acquire the necessary linguistic competence they would need to understand their lectures in English, take notes, and communicate (oral and written) at a pre-intermediate level.

Course Contents : Obligations, Predictions About future, Superlatives to describe place, Ability in the past “could”, Future possibilities, Simple past tense and past continuous tenses, jobs, Infinitive; Gerund, present passive sentences, Obligations and prohibition, Planned and spontaneous decisions, ed, -ing adjectives, Modals for asking for, Giving and refusing permission, If clause type 2, Past passive sentences.
