Aim(s) of Course : To enable students to acquire the necessary linguistic competence they would need to understand their lectures in English, take notes, and communicate (oral and written) at a pre-intermediate level.

Course Contents : Past tense, Likes/dislike, Gerunds, Qualifying adverbs, Comparing usual and present situations,Possessive adjectives/pronouns,Giving advice should/shouldn’t,Future tense (going to), Comparatives, Present perfect tense vs Past Perfect tense, Making Offers and requests, Zero conditional, Used to/didn’t used to, Infinitive of purpose and because/for, Have and have got, Some, any, much, many, a lot of.
