Learning Outcomes of the Course : Understands a good entrepreneurial profile and the role of the entrepreneur in businesses
Understands and analyzes the important role of SMEs for Turkish economy.
Uses and assesses theoretical and practical knowledge gained in the basic fields of entrepreneurshıp and small and medium size busıness management.

Aim(s) of Course : Identifies what enterpreneurship means by presenting definitions of the basic enterpreneurship currently used and suggests the opportunities for enterpreneurs.

Course Contents : In this course, subjects of nature of small businesses, success and unsucsess, successful entrepreneurships, developing a business plan, franchising, reosurces of capital, determines of business location, selection of business form, planning and organization, directing, performance monitoring, market recognization, pricing, advertising and sale, government subsidies to small businesses are mentioned. And also, examples of some family businesses will be examined.
